Breeding Stock For Sale

The Cariadfach Herd of Pedigree British Toggenburg goats has the following stock for sale below.  We are the UK’s newest herd of Dairy Goats, established in 2006 & having bred our first kids last year.  Our Foundation Herd of goats came from Monach Farm in Cambridgeshire partnered with the Essex Chanom Herd, a family organisation comprising of the oldest herds in the UK with a fine reputation & also home of Caprilatté – the UK’s original goats’ milk ice cream.

Our Stud Male was bred by the highly-respected & renowned caprine judge, David Brace; & was specially selected to complement the bloodlines of our new Herd.  We practise the highest standards of welfare & care for all our animals; & we ensure all kids are registered with the British Goat Society, are well handled & fully vaccinated before going to their new homes.  Despite the excellent quality & top bloodlines of the stock we have for sale, we have deliberately kept our prices low as we are new breeders – so grab yourself a bargain!   Please note that whilst all ours’ is a Closed Herd & all our animals came from top pedigree breeding stock with full CAE, Scrapie Monitored & Milk Recorded status, as we operate purely a Dairy Herd & do not show our goats, the aforesaid current statuses have lapsed as it would be uneconomical for us to maintain them.

Hi i’m intrested in purchasing dairy goates from Uk to exported to ROMANIA please email me with your coments All the best.

    • LittleFfarm Dairy says:

      “Hi Costel,

Apologies, we do not currently have any stock for sale which I think you will find is the case throughout the UK as most of the export stock will already have travelled. We do not & will not have any milking females for sale for the foreseeable future as we are building our Foundation Herd.

I suggest you contact the British Goat Society who will be able to put you in touch with breeders who specialise in the export market.

      Good luck!”

  2. George Lewes says:

do you currently have any milking goats for sale

    • George Lewes says:

      ???

      • LittleFfarm Dairy says:

        “Sorry George,

We do not sell our Milking Goats unless for a specific reason (i.e. a lady does not “fit” comfortably with the rest of the herd, as happens occasionally). When our Milkers come to retirement age (hasn’t happened yet as the Foundation Herd was only established in 2006!) they’ll live out their days in cosy idleness as a reward for all their hard work. All our goats are good milkers so we’ve never had reason to sell any on as “house goats” (i.e. goats which produce sufficient milk for a family’s consumption). At the moment we are still building our herd and only breed replacers; it will still be some years until we have reached capacity, by which time we will be replacing the first retirees. We do have some very nice young Stud Males for sale; however we have been so busy that we haven’t had time to post up their details as yet. I suggest you join your local Goat Club (ours’ is the South West Wales Goat Club) as members frequently have milkers for sale.

        Good luck!”
