Silent Night

Thankfully we didn’t get much of this,

tonight; so the sheep could safely graze, the ponies could doze, the goats could relax in their harem & the poultry snoozed peacefully on their perches.  We kept the cats & dogs indoors this evening – just in case – about which the cats were distinctly annoyed & the dogs, decidely pleased (although Brynn lives in all the time anyway – but there again he’s always just a happy little soul, regardless).

But other than the faintest of occasional flashes on the horizon, it was a tranquil evening; almost a little disappointing really, as if it wasn’t for the animals we’d have made the most of the evening & gone to the local bonfire, followed by a rare opportunity to dine out, as Tony starts his new job on Friday….never mind; peacefully curling up together on the sofa beats any evening excursion.

I agree about the sofa vs excursions – when you’re on the go all day, every day, cwtching up is by far the better option!
