Onwards & Upwards….

So, it would appear that Tony will soon be ‘sky high’ once more….

After months of setbacks, negotiation, frustration & waiting, it seems he’s one step closer to having all his documentation sorted out for working as a commercial contract pilot – more paperwork has arrived for him to tackle.

Up, up & away.....Airbus A320 take-off

Up, up & away.....Tony will soon be cleared for take-off

He must be one of very few ‘flying farmers’ – & I’m sure things will feel very different when he takes to the skies once more.  And back here on the Ffarm, as things get even busier, it’s promising to be a long, hard winter ahead….but just like Tony, I too will rise to the challenges & with a lot of hard work & sheer determination, am looking forward to a successful year ahead.  After all, we’re only eight months behind schedule – not bad considering all the setbacks we’ve suffered; but bad enough when there hasn’t been any money coming in & (inevitably) lots going out.

“Ladies & gentlemen, welcome aboard & apologies for the slight delay…..”

I’m risking hogging your blog here, but wanted to say that was a much needed smile. Thanks for that.

(I also had a story about our local vet who bought a Vulcan de-budding thingy, but as I say, don’t want to hijack your blog.)

Thanks again for the laugh and hope you have a better day tomorrow.
