The Cariadfach Herd of Pedigree British Toggenburg goats has the following stock for sale below. We are the UK’s newest herd of Dairy Goats, established in 2006 & having bred our first kids last year. Our Foundation Herd of goats came from Monach Farm in Cambridgeshire partnered with the Essex Chanom Herd, a family organisation comprising of the oldest herds in the UK with a fine reputation & also home of Caprilatté – the UK’s original goats’ milk ice cream.
Our Stud Male was bred by the highly-respected & renowned caprine judge, David Brace; & was specially selected to complement the bloodlines of our new Herd. All our animals come from CAE-tested, Milk Recorded & Scrapie Monitored stock; we also CAE test & Milk Record, & qualify for full Scrapie-Monitored status in July 2008, when the first of our 2008 kids will be ready to go their new homes.
We practise the highest standards of welfare & care for all our animals; & we ensure all kids are registered with the British Goat Society, are well handled & fully vaccinated before going to their new homes. Despite the excellent quality & top bloodlines of the stock we have for sale, we have deliberately kept our prices low as we are new breeders – so grab yourself a bargain!
